Funding for the Crown
In a decree issued on the 3rd of April, Her Majesty the Queen has granted N£16,738.30 to fund the Crown’s official and ongoing activities.Statement of Condolence

Panel in Honor of Transgender Day of Visibility
On the 27th of March, The Queen, accompanied by the Princess de Baïnnet, sat on a panel to discuss trans existence at a panel ahead of Trans Day of Visibility. The Queen delivered remarks on inclusivity and visibility.Royal Congratulations to the Sovereign Prince of Aigues-Mortes
On the 4th of April, The Queen sent a statement of celebration to the Princely Court of Aigues-Mortes in celebration of the Sovereign Prince Jean IV’s 65th birthday. Her Majesty expressed warm wishes on behalf of the Kingdom of Navassa.The Queen on a Podcast

Vigil for Trans Youth
On the 13th of April, The Queen joined members of the community to remember the life of Miss Katelyn Rinetta Benoit. Her Majesty was among community leaders who gave a speech, available here.

Navassa a Grantee of the Trillium Health Foundation
The Kingdom of Navassa was recently named one of several recipients of a grant issued by the Trillium Health Foundation in Rochester, New York. More than 30 local groups, all focused wholly or partially on supporting the LGBTQ+ community, collectively received approximately N£800,000 ($80,000).
The Queen has instructed the Secretariat of Community Affairs to draft a list of proposals to make use of the funds.

U.S. Senator Makes Filibuster History
On the 1st of April Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey made history of holding a filibuster on the U.S. Senate floor for 25 hours, overcoming the previous history held by Strom Thurmond of South Carolina, whose filibuster was against the Civil Rights Act of 1967. Senator Booker’s filibuster has been seen as ushering in renewed strength for the Democratic party.
U.S. Tariffs Goes into Effect
On the 2nd of April, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a series of tariffs that went into effect. The base tariff of 10% is imposed on all imports, with certain countries received higher rates. The enactment has shocked markets, with global stock indexes seeing losses the first two days into the new trade policy.
